With another school year beginning, hopefully students head back to school with fresh enthusiasm, feeling excited about the New Year ahead. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many of them.
Why is that? In my opinion the main reason is how children learn at school. I feel most of the current school systems focus on trying to turn children into round pegs so they will fit into round holes.
Here at Kip McGrath Hunter we believe Education should support every child’s learning to be the right shape for them: whether the child is like a triangle with some sharp points, or a heart shape with soft curves or some shape we haven’t even thought of yet.

If they are taught what they need to learn, when they need to learn it, in a way they can understand and remember it, this boosts their self-confidence and this is the best way to learn. The current school systems struggle to achieve this for many students.
Tutoring can achieve this for every student because of the individual programs we design for them and the way we closely monitor their progress and make changes to keep the pace of learning just right for each one of them. I wish you all a great year ahead.
