Take a break from sandwiches and pack a slice of this lovely salmon and leek.
2 cups Self Raising Flour
4 eggs
125g butter/margarine melted
1 cup milk
2 cups of savoury filling
(such as grated cheese, diced ham and/or vegies such as corn kernels, grated carrots, diced capsicum, spring onions, etc..)
STEP 1 Pre-heat oven 180C and grease a muffin tin.
STEP 2 Combine flour, milk, butter and eggs in a large bowl. Do not over mix.
STEP 3 Fold in savoury filling and season with salt/pepper.
STEP 4 Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
With the days becoming cooler, send the kids to school with a hot lunch. It will keep them warm, plus it is something fun and different.
1. Warm up the thermos by filling it with boiling water, allow it to sit for 10 minutes and then empty the water.
2. Fill Thermos with hot contents (e.g. soup, noodles, dinner left overs)
3. Secure lid tightly, place in lunch bag and remember to include a spoon or fork.
4. In a separate container pack some bread or crackers and some fruit.
