Teacher’s Tips – Multiplying Large Numbers
If you have a large number to multiply and one of the numbers is even, you can easily subdivide to get the answer:
32 x 125, is the same as:
16 x 250, is the same as:
8 x 500, is the same as:
4 x 1000 = 4.000
